The psychedelic renaissance has started and we are curious what it will bring. After a 50 year break we see psychedelics* now used in healthcare, personal growth and creative processes. The academic research into psychedelics is booming, as are its applications in many different areas.
Consciousness coach and psychedelic guide Nigel Pedlingham will take us on a trip from micro to macro discussing the what, why, when, where and how of psychedelic exploration.
You are invited to come to learn, discuss, share and ponder the offering psychedelics and plant medicines contribute to our consciousness, our healings, our growth and our self-development.
This will be a participative conversation, so please come along willing to be curious, conscious and collaborative.
No prior experience necessary and please note no psychedelics will be offered during this workshop!
*Psychedelics are a subclass of hallucinogenic drugs whose primary effect is to trigger non-ordinary states of consciousness (known as psychedelic experiences or "trips"). This causes specific psychological, visual, and auditory changes, and often a substantially altered state of consciousness. Psychedelic states are often compared to meditative, psychodynamic or transcendental types of alterations of mind. The "classical" psychedelics, the psychedelics with the largest scientific and cultural influence, are mescaline, LSD, psilocybin, and DMT (source Wikipedia)
