In the A Lab Playground, directly opposite Eye, the makers (groups) each work on their own research. Cinedans provides coaching in the areas of technology, design, and content. Cinedans brings together Joris Weijdom, VR-expert, en Anouk Keizer and Ineke van der Ham,neuropsychologists, for a lecture on embodiment, presence, and the creation of illusion in the virtual environment. Besides the lecture, the VRLab will be holding an open house on 25 and 26 June. Doors will be open to the Cinedans audience. Cinedans presents an interdisciplinary program where the two movement arts, dance and film, are pre-eminently linked. Connection, innovation and polyphony are central to this 18th International Edition. In five full days, Cinedans presents the state of the art of international dance film in partnership with dance screen–IMZ International Music + Media Center. This year's program will be online soon on www.cinedans.nl! Cinedans FEST ’22 will take place from June 22-26 in Eye Filmmuseum Amsterdam, A Lab and online.
