Routes
This activity is organized by Stby (www.stby.eu), a creative research firm here at A Lab 105B, where we work, among other things, to (re) design public spaces in the city. In these projects, all kinds of experiences and opinions are collected from residents and local entrepreneurs. Too often, the voice of nature is forgotten in these major changes in the city. For people, it's about public spaces, but for the plants and animals (nature) in the area, it's about their homes. That is why it is important to also give nature a voice in projects where their habitat changes. Would you like to help represent the voice of nature?
During this 30-minute workshop, we will do an exercise where participants become more aware of and empathize with the non-human beings in the area. After the workshop, you will hopefully feel inspired and your view of life in the square will be enlarged. If you find yourself in a situation in the future where you notice that the voice of nature is being forgotten, you can address this after today and ask critical questions.
There are two start times for the workshop: 17:30 and 18:30. We gather at Stby's Lab 105B and, after a short introduction, go outside together for the activity. Kids are certainly welcome too!
