Can you briefly tell us who you are?
At BOSS, we guide adults up to the age of 30 in their development into entrepreneurs, where personal growth and entrepreneurship go hand in hand. Participants work on their own business idea, while simultaneously learning about themes such as mindset, ownership, and collaboration.
For this process, we work with A Lab as a location partner. A Lab offers an inspiring and creative environment where our participants become part of a wider community of makers and entrepreneurs. This setting reinforces the learning process and makes it possible for young people to connect their ideas directly to practice.
If someone doesn't know you yet and happens to connect with you, what do they really need to know about you?
When someone walks into our house, the most important thing to know is that we not only transfer knowledge, but really get people moving. Our program is not a standard process, but an experience where participants are challenged to step out of their comfort zone, take responsibility and shape their own path.
What people learn from us — and often didn't know — is that entrepreneurship is not just about starting a business or gaining pure professional knowledge, but above all about mindset: taking the initiative, dealing with uncertainty, collaborating and learning to see opportunities where see obstacles. After all, a company is an extension of yourself. What you encounter internally is often also reflected in the development of your company.
In addition, we offer a safe but at the same time activating environment where participants learn from coaches, trainers and each other. This combination of personal development and practical application ensures that what has been learned is not only understood, but can also be felt and applied immediately.
At A Lab, we offer space to organizations that share our mission: to create an innovative incubator where entrepreneurs have the space and opportunities to make an impact and where surprising and connecting events come about.
Why is A Lab the right place for this program?
A Lab is a place where creativity, entrepreneurship and community come together; exactly the elements that our program connects to. The energy of A Lab, with its diverse community of makers, thinkers and doers, greatly enhances the learning process of our participants.
For our target group, it is valuable to be in an environment where entrepreneurship is already visible and tangible. It lowers the threshold, increases inspiration and makes the step from idea to implementation more realistic.
At the same time, we believe that our participants can also add something to A Lab: new perspectives, energy and a group of young people who are motivated to grow and contribute.
What can people from the A Lab community join or help with?
The A Lab community can join our program in various ways. Think of sharing knowledge and experience through guest speakers or coaching. Entrepreneurs and makers within A-Lab can play an important role as a source of inspiration and sparring partner for our participants.
In addition, we are open to collaborations where participants can participate in real projects, internships or assignments, so that they can put their skills into practice immediately.
We also invite the community to be part of BOSS, for example by participating in the entrepreneurial journey ourselves with access to our community and networking events. This creates an interaction in which both participants and the A Lab community learn and grow from each other.
