Jongens van de Bar – What started in 2018 with a food truck and a group of friends has grown into a community of about 2,000 enthusiastic students who work at festivals, music venues, and other unique locations. Jongens van de Bar does not see itself as a traditional temp agency, but as a crew company where friendship, professionalism, and sustainable partnerships are central. They are always open to a fresh perspective on their own work, but also hope to inspire the people at A Lab with how they treat others.
The question they ask themselves is actually very simple: how can we strengthen each other in a creative and socially responsible way? Read more about Jongens van de Bar, but most of all, come by Lab 2.05 to say hello.
Noa de Goede is the new Community Manager at A Lab! Born and raised in Amsterdam, she studied Arts and Economics at the HKU in Utrecht. Over the past few years, she has worked in various roles within the cultural sectors of Amsterdam, Utrecht, and Rotterdam. For the last two years, Noa has held a similar position as chair of Stichting Kunstlicht Amsterdam, a creative hub primarily for emerging makers. In this role, she is responsible for organizing exhibitions and events while ensuring the community continues to grow. Twice a year, Noa also hosts the Kunstlicht Date Diner, where she plays matchmaker for single Amsterdammers. For the past six years, she has been part of the production team for the art and design fairs BIG ART and OBJECT. As an active member of the Cultuurtafel Noord, Noa is committed to preserving affordable creative workspaces in Amsterdam North.
When she’s not busy organizing and coordinating, she enjoys crocheting, viewing art, reading, cooking, gardening, and walking her dog. What drives her is connecting people—whether through events, spontaneous conversations, or fostering collaborations. Noa is dedicated to facilitating those moments of connection. She is very much looking forward to getting to know everyone, so see you soon!
